Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- revealed a new key visual for Sung Jinwoo, teasing it with “Now, the hunt begins.” The anime is set to release Episode 9 (Episode 21 overall) this Saturday, with Jeju Island seeming like Jinwoo’s next big destination. The title of the next episode is “It was All Worth It,” and it will premiere on Saturday, March 1.

The anime is based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, which was adapted by h-goon. The story follows the world’s ‘weakest hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, as he gets a way to level up in a world where it is otherwise impossible. He as now completed the Demon Castle and has all the ingredients for the Elixir of Life, which he needed to cure his mother.
Solo Leveling was previously also voted the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our Winter 2024 Anime Awards.The second season was then voted as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025 this season. It placed second in our latest weekly ranking, with only Re:ZERO Season 3 above it.
